I didn’t post last week, really beyond a few loom-style videos over on YouTube and a little bit of coding, based on some questions in groups, but it was a busy week, one of the busiest for a while.
Development
I was working on several projects last week, a small update to UUPD, a license box and UUPD integration for Hoster by DPlugins. I got a really good alpha of uupd-server, an update and licensing server to work with UUPD that will eventually be released and totally free.
I also developed a few proof of concepts for some features for SureCart that allow external download links, i.e for large file delivery, and also allow you to link to an external product, and they have both been built into full-on plugins over the past week. These are small plugins, really useful for what they do, but single-page plugins, about 1000 lines of code each. External Download Links for SureCart and External Price Links for SureCart
I haven’t ever done such premium plugins before. I wanted them to show up in the SureCart menu, and I had an issue with licensing and how to do this. I didn’t want a separate setting menu, so I also developed a new inline box for SureCart. This is still probably beta, even though it exists in both the above plugins; it appears to work well. I’ve extensively tested it over a very short period of time on different environments, but it is a new way of creating license boxes for me. I do expect there to be refinements of this over the next few months.

Videos
Following some feedback received a few weeks ago about my loom style videos and bubbles. I have been publishing more of them directly to Facebook with a dedicated title card, so they are identifiable, and they seem to be reasonably popular.
I have decided even though it’s a little more work to title and description for them all, and to identify them with a dedicated title card so everyone knows they are these loom-style videos. I’ve put an example below
