I’ve said it before and I will say it again I am a windows user and struggled sometimes to find solutions to things that are easier on a Mac. I like windows I know windows and can do a lot and my windows machine has PHP, Bash, Git, Python etc all on path and work so for coding I am good.
Although I did struggle to find a decent clipboard manager but eventually found one I love clip clip now I don’t use it to its full usage I don’t tend to use the paste menu as much as I should but for the history function alone when adding passwords etc this is so worth having.
One thing that has been bothering me since i’ve been using it particularly when recording videos is the confirmation popup so today I looked into how to remove it you can see the popup in the gif below.
You can actually disable this using the following instructions
- Open the Configuration window;
- Open the “General” tab;
- Uncheck all types of clips in the “Clips that will be displayed in preview” option;
- Click the “Save” button to save new settings;
You want your finished article to look like the image below and don’t forget to save once you’ve done it
With this done my clips are no longer shown on my videos and I don’t have to worry about leaking secrets
