SureCart to FluentForms
This website has had a little bit of a downgrade, which is really an upgrade. The only buyable items in this store are premium articles, of which there are currently none to buy; an annual subscription to unlock all articles; and a donation form on the support the work page.
This meant we were using SureCart, post access manager for SureCart and a custom integration, but it was a lot of overhead for something we didn’t really need. I already had FluentForms on the site; it was running the few contact forms and feedback it accepted payments, and it made sense to develop a solution for FluentForms.
So there now exists a solution to allow me to grant access to posts based on payments via FluentForms. This included a few custom shortcodes and other setup but is replicable, and I may even release it as a premium article on this site.
